2. There will ten stand-up comedians completing each Thursday. Each comedian can perform up to a seven-minute set in the ten preliminary rounds.

3. The audience votes for the winners of the weekly contest.  The ballots will be handed out before the first comic starts.  NO ballots will be handed out after the first comic goes up.  Each ballot MUST have four comics voted for (1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place and 4th place).  Ballots will be voided if four comics are not voted for.

4.  Each Thursday night, the top four point finishers will move on to "Ultimate Laff-Down" XXV quarter-finals. 

5.  There will be four quarter-finals. Each comedian can perform up to a eight-minute set in quarter-finals. The audience votes for the winners of the semi-finals (SEE RULE #3).  The top four point finishers of each quarter-final will move on to "Ultimate Laff-Down" XXV semi-finals. 

6.  There will be two semi-finals. Each comedian can perform up to a nine-minute set in semi-finals. The audience votes for the winners of the semi-finals (SEE RULE #3).  The top four point finishers of each semi-final will move on to "Ultimate Laff-Down" XXV finals. 

7. The finals will be held the 17th week of the competition.  Each comedian can perform up to a ten-minute set in the finals.  The audience votes for the winners of the finals (SEE RULE #3).

First Place:   $400.00
Second Place:  $125.00
Third Place:   $75.00
Fourth Place:   $50.00

8. To enter the contest, interested comedians must email Bill Word at info@laffdown.com a bio/resume and a link to an online video of your comedy of at least 5 minutes.
